What type of language assessments will I use in my classroom, based on some ideas from the Andrew's text?

Potential Answers: One activity I found in the text that I thought was neat was the Scrabble activity. You could allow your students to get into groups at their tables about then play a game of scrabble with altered rules: the horizontal words must be read from right to left and the vertical words myst be read from the bottom upward. Something like this would be a great interactive way to get your students engaged and to begin initial language discussions based on the types of words students came up with.
